چکیده

مقدمه: بیماران مبتلا به پرکاری تیروئید در خطر دیس ریتمی قلبی به ویژه فیبریلاسیون دهلیزی و آمبولی سیستمیک ثانوی به آن می باشند که در اکثریت موارد
در سیستم عصبی مرکزی رخ می دهد. بروز آمبولی سیستمیک در غیاب دیس ریتمی قلبی و در شرائین اندام ها پدیده ای بسیار ناشایع است و در مرور نوشتار های
پزشکی تنها یک مورد از آن گزارش شده است.
این مطالعه با هدف گزارش وقوع آمبولی سیستمیک در شریان بازویی اندام فوقانی چپ در یک بیمار مبتلا به پرکاری تیروئید در غیاب دیس ریتمی قلبی
می باشد.

I





ntroduction: Hyperthyroid patients are at increased risk of systemic embolism due to cardiac dysrhythmia , especially atrial fibrillation. Most of these embolic events occur in central nervous system. Systemic emboli in the absence of cardiac dysrhythmia and in arteries of extremities are very uncommon. In review of literature only one case is reported.
Case report: It report a hyperthyroid patient with an embolism in left upper extremity in the absence of cardiac dysrhythmia
