Abstract This study was conducted to determine the difference in social adjustment, social acceptance, and emotional maturity between hyperactive students and students with learning disabilities in Tonekabon city. The method of the present study was causal-comparative. The statistical population of the present study was all male elementary school students in Tonekabon city with hyperactivity and learning disabilities in the academic year 1402-1403. The sample size of the present study was 50 people for each group (hyperactive students group and students with learning disabilities group), and the research samples were selected using simple random sampling method and entered into the study. Multivariate analysis of variance test was used to compare the difference in the mean of the research variables in the two groups. The results showed that the scores of social adjustment, social acceptance, and emotional maturity in hyperactive students and students with learning disabilities are significantly different from each other. According to the results obtained, hyperactive students have higher social adjustment, social acceptance, and emotional maturity than students with learning disabilities.

Abstract Introduction: Attention Deficit/ Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), as a neurodevelopmental disorder, accompanied not only with some special behavioral symptoms, The present study was conducted in order to test the effectiveness of the RayanehYar family-oriented program on the information processing speed of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Methodology: This research was a semi-experimental research with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. Audio-visual performance test was used to measure the variables. The statistical population of the research included all 6-9-year-old children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder who referred to Hasti and Parsa medical clinics in 1401-1402. The statistical sample of this research was made up of 30 of these children who were selected by available sampling and were assigned to two experimental and control groups and were subjected to intervention. The results were analyzed using covariance method.
Results: The findings showed that RayanehYar’s comprehensive family-oriented program was effective on information processing speed in two components of visual and auditory performance (P≥0.05).
Conclusion: Considering the effectiveness of the comprehensive family-centered program of RayanehYar on improving the speed of information processing, it can be said that this program is valid and can be used to increase the cognitive abilities and executive functions of these children.
