One of the areas that are affected in MS is the cerebellum. Disorders in cerebellar structure leadss to ataxia, imbalance, increased fall risk and so that can decrease patient’s quality of life. Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is the application of weak electrical currents (1-2 mA) to modulate the activity of neurons in the brain. However, The main aim of this study was to investigate the effect of cerebellar anodal transcranial direct current stimulation (a-tDCS) on fall risk and Walking Speed in woman with Multiple Sclerosis. Materials and Methods: The study samples were 20 women with MS (30 to 40 years).  Patients received sham or real anodal tDCS of cerebellar for 5 consecutive days in a randomized, sham-controlled study. Main Outcome Measures: fall risk index and Time up and Go (TUG) (walking speed), were evaluated. Neuropsychological evaluation were conducted at baseline and immediately after the ctDCS and one month after the completion of the intervention. Results: Repeated-measures ANOVA was used for the intra-group analyses and inter-group analyses. fall risk index and Time up and Go scores improved in after active anodal tDCS only were improved in intervention group. Conclusion:  These preliminary data support the notion that anodal tDCS of the cerebellar region combined with balance training improves fall risk index in women with MS. However, Future work has to evaluate potential benefits of cerebellar tDCS on fall risk in People with Multiple Sclerosis.}, keywords = {Transcranial direct current stimulation,Cerebellum,Postural control,Multiple Sclerosis}, title_fa = {تاثیر تحریک فراجمجمه‎ای مخچه بر خطر سقوط و سرعت راه رفتن بیماران مبتلا به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه:مولتیپل اسکلروزیس (ام اس) یک بیماری مزمن، خود ایمنی التهابی دستگاه عصبی مرکزی است.مخچه یکی از مناطقی است که در این بیماری تحت تاثیر قرار می گیرد.اختلال در مخچه منجر به آتاکسی،عدم تعادل، افزایش خطر سقوط میشود.تحریک مغز از ورای جمجمه استفاده از جریان الکتریکی ضعیف ( 2-1 میلی آمپر) است که موجب تعدیل فعالیت نورونها در مغز میشود. بنابراین هدف اصلی مطالعه حاضر تاثیر تحریک آندی مخچه بر خطر سقوط و سرعت راه رفتن بیماران  ام اس  بود.روش کار: نمونه های مطالعه حاضر 20 زن مبتلا به ام‌اس 30 تا 40 سال تشکیل دادند. بیماران به دوگروه آزمایش و کنترل تقسیم شدند.تحریک واقعی (گروه آزمایش) و تحریک ساختگی (گروه کنترل) را 5 روز متوالی همراه با تمرینات تعادلی به مدت 20 دقیقه با شدت جریان 2 میلی آمپر در ناحیه مخچه دریافت کردند.برای ارزیابی خطر سقوط از آزمون خطر سقوط دستگاه بایودکس و برای ارزیابی سرعت راه رفتن از آزمون برخاستن و رفتن استفاده شد.ارزیابی ها قبل، بعد و یکماه بعد از مداخله انجام گردید.نتایج: از آزمون تحلیل واریانس با  اندازه‌های تکراری برای بررسی تغییرات درون و بین گروهی استفاده گردید.سطح معنی‌داری در تمامی آزمون های آماری 05/0 در نظر گرفته شد.نتایج،بهبود نمرات در شاخص خطر سقوط و آزمون برخاستن و رفتن را در گروه آزمایش نشان می‌دهد.نتیجه گیری: نتایج تحقیق حاضر نشان می‌دهد احتمالا تحریک آندی مخچه بتواند موجب بهبود خطر سقوط و سرعت راه رفتن در بیماران ام‌اس شود اما برای قطعیت بیشتر در این خصوص،نیاز به تحقیقات بیشتری در آینده است.}, keywords_fa = {تحریک فراجمجمه‌ای,مخچه,خطر سقوط,مولتیپل اسکلروزیس}, url = {https://mjms.mums.ac.ir/article_15589.html}, eprint = {https://mjms.mums.ac.ir/article_15589_f5b5ca1759119c4f0243380d52aad44d.pdf} }
