There are some evidences that show a relationship between thyroid hormones and weight changes. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between thyrotropin and body mass index, in euthyroid people with different weights. Materials and Methods: This study was conducted on healthy women who were referred to the endocrine clinic. After taking a thorough history, doing a complete physical examination, checking for signs and symptoms of hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism and measuring their height and weight, thyroid function tests were done. Results: Overall 283 women participated  .The mean age and BMI were 35.88±12.75 years and 26.18±6.25 Kg/m2, respectively, 11% of them were underweight, 35.5% were normal and 29.3% were overweight and 24% were suffering from obesity. The mean serum TSH level was 2.29±0.07. The lowest serum TSH levels was in people with normal BMI, but there was no significant relationship between TSH serum levels in different BMI groups.There wasn’t significant relation between BMI and TSH (r=0.108, P=0.071). Conclusion:Based on the results of this study, there was no relationship between BMI and TSH serum levels in euthyroid women.}, keywords = {Thyrotropin,Body mass index,Euthyroid,Obesity}, title_fa = {بررسی ارتباط بین تیروتروپین و شاخص توده بدنی در افراد با کارکرد طبیعی تیروئید}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: شیوع چاقی در تمامی دنیا به صورت هشدار دهنده ای در حال افزایش می باشد . شواهدی نشان می دهد ارتباطی میان هورمون های تیروئیدی و تغییرات وزن وجود دارد. هدف از این مطالعه، تعیین رابطه بین TSH  (هورمون محرک تیروئید )و BMI  (شاخص توده بدنی) ، در زنان  یوتیروئید با وزن های مختلف است. روش کار: این مطالعه توصیفی مقطعی از سال 1389- 1391 در درمانگاه قائم و مرکز تحقیقات غدد انجام شده است. این مطالعه بر زنان  سالمی که  به درمانگاه غدد مراجعه کردند انجام شد. پس از اخذ شرح حال و معاینه فیزیکی کامل و رد کم کاری یا پرکاری تیروئید از نظر بالینی  و اندازه گیری وزن و قد آنها تستهای تیروئیدی درخواست شد. اطلاعات با نرم افزار SPSS و با آزمون های اسپیرنوف و پیرسون و آنوا و اسپیرمن مقایسه و تجزیه و تحلیل شد. نتایج: تعداد 283  زن در مطالعه شرکت کردند . میانگین سنی آنها 75/12±88/35 سال و میانگین BMI، 25/6±18/26 کیلوگرم بر متر مربع بود. 11% افراد لاغر، 5/35% با وزن طبیعی، 3/29% دارای اضافه وزن، و 24% ایشان مبتلا به چاقی بودند. میانگین سطح سرمی TSH 07/0±29/2 میلی واحد در لیتر بود.کمترین TSH در گروه با BMI طبیعی بود اما گروههای مختلف BMI  از لحاظ TSH تفاوت آماری نداشتند .همچنین همبستگی میان سطح سرمی TSHو BMI وجود نداشت.  (071/0=p،108/0 =r) نتیجه‌گیری: بر اساس نتایج مطالعه کنونی، ارتباطی میان BMI و سطح سرمی TSH در زنان یوتیروئید، وجود نداشت.}, keywords_fa = {تیروتروپین,نمایه توده بدنی,یوتیروئید,چاقی}, url = {https://mjms.mums.ac.ir/article_2418.html}, eprint = {https://mjms.mums.ac.ir/article_2418_ff826bb71bb4a8a7157f62aad436952f.pdf} }
