However during the 3 years after Mumps vaccination there have been frequent reports of Parotitis and Meningitis in the first few weeks after the shot. This article is the report of the authors experience about the probable adverse reactions of mumps vaccine. Materials and Methods This was prospective cross sectional observational study in Pediatric wards of Imam Reza and Dr Sheikh hospitals from August 2004 up to July 2009. In this study children who developed Parotitis or Meningitis within 0ne to six weeks after MMR vaccination were considered as probable Mumps vaccine adverse reaction. Results There were 24 cases of Meningitis (with or without Parotitis) and 16 cases of isolated Parotitis during 9 to 39 days after MMR vaccination. Male to Female ratio was 3/1 in Meningitis and 2/3 in Parotitis group. In the whole group %65 (26 ) of children were 4-6 years old and 30% of them (12 cases) were One year old, and in all of them this was the first shot of Mumps vaccine. We had a probable case of vaccine virus transmission from a 7 years old girl to her 14 years old brother. Conclusion Meningitis is a common event during one to six weeks after Mumps vaccination with the current (Zagreb) strain.}, keywords = {Mumps vaccine,Meningitis,Parotitis}, title_fa = {مننژیت آسپتیک پس از واکسیناسیون MMR در کودکان مشهد}, abstract_fa = { مقدمه واکسیناسیون علیه بیماری اوریون با استفاده از گونه زاگرب این ویروس از سال 1383 در ایـران آغـاز شـده اسـت، از آن هنگام میزان بروز اوریون و عوارض آن (به ویژه مننژیت) به شدت کاهش یافتـه اسـت، در عـین حـال در ایـن سالها موارد متعدد پاروتیدیت و مننژیت در فاصله زمانی تا 6 1 هفته پس از واکسیناسیون MMR دیده شده است . روش کار این پژوهش یک مطالعه توصیفی مقطعی آینده نگر، از مرداد ماه 1383 تـا تیـر مـاه 1388 مـی باشـد . محـل انجـام تحقیق بخش اطفال بیمارستان امام رضا ) ع( و بخش اورژانس بیمارستان دکتر شیخ و درمانگاه عفونی کودکان بـوده است. در این مطالعه کودکانی که در فاصله 1 تـا 6 هفتـه پـس از واکسیناسـیون MMR بـه مننژیـت آسـپتیک و یـا پاروتیدیت مبتلا شده اند به عنوان عارضه احتمالی واکسن اوریون در نظر گرفتـه شـده انـد . بررسـی آمـاری در ایـن مطالعه با استفاده از نرم افزار اکسل انجام شد .  نتایج در مقطع زمانی فوق 24 مورد مننژیت (با یا بدون پاروتیدیت) و 16 مورد پاروتیدیت (بـه تنهـایی ) درفاصـله -39 9 روز (متوسط /19 9 روز) پس از تزریق MMR مشاهده شد. نسبت پسر بـه دختـر درگـروه مننژیـت 1/4 و در گـروه پاروتیدیت به تنهایی 3/2 بود. از مجموع بیمارانی کـه اطلاعـات دموگرافیـک آنهـا در دسـترس بـود 26 نفـر (65%) متعاقب واکسیناسیون 4- 6 سالگی و 12 نفر (30 %) هب دنبال واکسن یک سالگی دچار عارضه شدند. در ایـن مطالعـه یک مورد احتمالی انتقال ویروس واکسن از یک دختر 7 ساله به برادر 14 ساله اش مشاهده گردید .  نتیجه گیری مننژیت آسپتیک در فاصله 1- 6 هفته پس از واکسیناسیون MMR در شهر مشهد شایع است . }, keywords_fa = {واکسن اوریون,مننژیت,پاروتیدیت}, url = {https://mjms.mums.ac.ir/article_5381.html}, eprint = {https://mjms.mums.ac.ir/article_5381_7ad4e1833f194b09e8441aa922f5535a.pdf} }
