Objective: The purpose of this study was to design and test a model for applying the smart school model with a learning and sustainability approach in physical education vocational schools.
Methodology: The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population included the principals and teachers of the country's vocational schools. A statistical sample was estimated to be sufficient for modeling and analyzing data in smart pls software (174 people). The available sampling method was performed through cyberspace and communication channels between physical education schools. The research tool was a questionnaire extracted from the qualitative phase (79 questions on a 5-point Likert scale). The validity of the instrument was used by experts (content validity) and model fit indices (reliability and construct validity).
Results: The research model includes 10 main variables with their dimensions (23 dimensions) in four conceptual levels, respectively, capacity building of knowledge-based ecosystem , school intelligence , learning school (system). Education, technology literacy and learning environment and sustainable school sustainability in terms of effectiveness-effectiveness. The results of the model test in the structural equation modeling software showed that the dimensions significantly explain the variables (p≥0.001). Also, the results of path analysis showed that the determined and hypothesized relationships between the variables in the conceptual model based on the questionnaire data are significant. Structural validity and model reliability were confirmed by fit indices (SRMR = 0.08.
Conclusion: Implementing the smart school model is a systematic process that takes place in order to achieve a learner and sustainable school.
