The relationship between health-oriented lifestyle and psychological capital with the social health of teachers in Tonkabon city

Abstract
Introduction: The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between health-oriented lifestyle and psychological capital with the social health of teachers in Tonkabon. This research was a retrospective descriptive study with a correlational design. The statistical population of this research was made up of all the teachers working in public and private schools of Tonkabon city in the academic year of 1402-1403 in the number of 802 people, among whom 150 teachers were selected as a sample by stratified random sampling method. To collect information from health-oriented lifestyle questionnaires (Walker, 1997), psychological capital (Luthans, 2007) and social health (Keyes, 1998) were used. To analyze the data, Pearson's correlation test and multiple regression analysis were used. The result of multiple regression analysis indicated that there is a significant simple and multiple relationship between health-oriented lifestyle, psychological capital and social health of teachers (P < 0.01). Also, the result of multiple regression analysis indicates that is that the optimism component is the best predictor of the social health of the teachers.
