The present study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of integrative behavioral couple therapy on emotional expression and family resilience in couples with marital burnout. The current study was a semi-experimental application with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group and a two-month follow-up period. The statistical population of the present study was made up of 212 conflicted couples with marital marital who referred to counseling centers in Shiraz in the spring of 2024. In this research, 35 conflicted couple with marital marital were selected by purposive sampling and randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. (18 couple in the experimental group and 17 couple in the control group). The couples in the experimental group received the integrative behavioral couple therapy during eight weeks in eight 90-minute sessions. Marital Burnout Questionnaire (MBQ), Emotional Expression Questionnaire (EEQ) and Family Resilience Questionnaire (FRQ) were used in the present study. The data were analyzed through mixed ANOVA via SPSS23 software. The results showed that integrative behavioral couple therapy has significant effect on the emotional expression (p<0.001) and family resilience (p<0.001) in couples with marital burnout. According to According to this Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy can be used as an efficient method to increase emotional expression and family resilience in couples with marital burnout by creating constructive communication and interactive patterns, presenting a perspective and formulating problems, focusing on communication strengths and creating psychological and emotional tolerance.
