Presentation of Value Chain Based Tourism Entrepreneurship Development Model in Iran: A Case Study of Ardabil Province

Abstract

Abstract
Introduction: The purpose of this study was to present a model of tourism entrepreneurship development based on value chains in Iran, which was a case study of this research in Ardabil province.
Methods: The present study is a qualitative research that used the data base method for conducting the research. The statistical population of the study included all researchers and professors of tourism and entrepreneurship as well as managers and experts of tourism organization and cultural heritage of Ardabil province. In this study, a sample size of 50 researchers and professors in tourism and entrepreneurship field as well as managers and experts of tourism organization and cultural heritage of Ardabil province were selected by purposeful sampling. Data collection tools included analysis and documentation, in-depth interviews and observations. Data analysis was done through qualitative coding.
Results: The results of data analysis showed that the model of tourism entrepreneurship development based on value chains in Ardabil city consists of eight rings: residential centers, restaurants, infrastructure, tourism facilities, facilities and services, transportation, Technology and development of skills training and development system.
Conclusion: In order to develop tourism entrepreneurship based on value chains in Ardabil city, an eight-ring pattern can be used.
