Introduction: Research on explaining behavior with respect to psychological variables is important for researchers; therefore; The purpose of this study is to Application of planned behavior model in explaining micro-savings behavior.
Methods: This study is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of descriptive-survey nature and in terms of cross-sectional time. Data collection was done in two ways: library and field. After removing incomplete and discarded samples, 161 samples were analyzed, which according to Halinsky and Flort in this study has reached the adequacy of the sample. A questionnaire was used to collect the desired information. The initial questionnaire was provided to 15 experts to assess the validity and reliability and was used after ensuring the validity and reliability. Structural equation modeling (SEM) and partial least squares (PLS) method and SmarPLS software were used to analyze the data.
Results: The results showed that the GOF‌ criterion for the overall model fit was calculated to be 0.69, which indicates a strong fit of the model. Also, based on the standardized root mean square index (SRMR), which has recently been preferred, the acceptable fit of this model has been confirmed.
Conclusion: It seems that using the planned behavior model in explaining micro-savings behavior in order to identify and strengthen the factors affecting micro-savings behavior is useful and effective.
