Study and analysis of individual, social, legal and utilitarian levels in the ethical behavior of the employees of the Ministry of Sports and Youth

Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify and explain the status and dimensions of ethical behavior in the Ministry of Sports and Youth. In terms of purpose, practical and developmental goal, and in terms of method, a descriptive research is of correlation type as well as field research, which has collected data in the field research method. The statistical population of the study consists of two groups: the first group are experts. The second group is the employees of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to assess moral behaviors. This questionnaire has 77 items with a Likert scale of 5 options from strongly disagree to strongly agree that their score was from 1 to 5. This questionnaire was first interviewed with 30 university experts and the Ministry of Sports, and then after manual coding, the components and items were extracted. Accordingly, the questionnaire measures ethical behaviors in four dimensions including personal level, social level, legal level and utility level. The validity of the ethical behaviors questionnaire was equal to 0.94 and its reliability was equal to 0.99. Data were analyzed using SPSS 23 software and structural equation modeling method was performed using AMOS 23 software. The findings showed that the situation of ethical behaviors in the Ministry of Sports and Youth was at the desired level and the level of ethical behaviors was above average.
