Abstract

Peace of mind is the basis of a healthy life. Belief in religion and asking for God's help causes peace of mind for the believer in life events. The Qur'an mentions several ways to achieve peace of mind. These Qur'anic teachings can be used in psychotherapy to balance personality and behavior. In the Qur'an, God has called man the Ashraf of creatures and shows the best way to achieve peace and avoid human anxiety. Man is a two-dimensional being: mind and body; The Qur'an, by expressing human instinctual issues, has provided solutions to control and manage these instincts, the result of which is to achieve balance between these two dimensions. In this article, some Qur'anic methods for the treatment of the psyche are stated. In scientific psychology, knowing the causes of the disease is of great importance, and without recognizing these causes, the treatment of the disease is almost futile. Another point that is considered by psychologists today is the impact of cultural and social factors on the personality of each person and determining his needs.
