Abstract

The aim of this study is to present a model to explain the role of university incubators on entrepreneurial self-efficacy in universities of Mazandaran province (third generation). The research method was mixed (qualitative and quantitative) with the exploratory design in the qualitative approach, the Delphi method and in the quantitative approach the descriptive survey method was used. The statistical population consisted of 20 people in the qualitative department, specialists, experts in the field of university entrepreneurship and university incubators in Mazandaran, and in the quantitative department, the staff of companies operating in growth centers in the universities of Mazandaran province was 681 people. Using purposive sampling method and considering the saturation law, 10 people and in the quantitative part, based on Cochran's formula, 246 people were selected as a sample by stratified random sampling method based on the type of university. . Exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equations were used to analyze the data. The results showed: University incubators have 3 dimensions "educational, structural and strategic" and 8 components "management and human resources, knowledge management, infrastructure, organizational structure, organization, university strategy, services and support and internationalization" which is a strategic dimension with The operating load of 0.965 has the first rank and the structural dimension with the operating load of 0.735 has the last rank. Entrepreneurial self-efficacy has 7 dimensions: "Creativity, planning, human resource development, ambiguity management, critical thinking, goal setting, risk-taking" and the dimension of ambiguity management with a factor of 0.921 has the first rank and the dimension of risk-taking with a factor of 0.594 has the last rank. . The results of the structural equation test showed; The role of university incubators on entrepreneurial self-efficacy in universities of Mazandaran province (third generation) is positive and significant and the proposed model has a suitable fit.
