Background and Aim: It is one of the most common non-communicable diseases in the present age that the negative psychological consequences along with the purpose of this study was to study the effectiveness of lifestyle training on psychological well-being of patients with type 2 diabetes.. Materials and Methods: This experimental study was performed with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group and a follow-up stage. The statistical population consisted of all people with type 2 in Imam Hassan Mojtaba (AS) Health Center in Mashhad in 1400. Cohen Table 20 people for each group consisted of an experimental group and a control group. In order to collect information, Reef psychological well-being test (pwbs) was performed on patients in pre-test-post-test and three-month study. Lifestyle training intervention was presented for 8 sessions of 90 minutes over 4 weeks. Statistical data were analyzed using one-way analysis of covariance and mixed analysis of variance with cunning measurements with spss-21 software. Results: Lifestyle training had a significant effect on the psychological well-being of several types (p ›0.01). Three-month follow-up also showed that the effect of the training provided is lasting over time (p ›0.01). Conclusion: The results of this can be used to improve the level of research psychology of type 2 diabetes.
