Abstract

Introduction: Stress plays an important role in understanding the quality and stability of family relationships. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to investigate the effectiveness of short-term stress-based treatment training for female teachers in Kashmir.
Methods: The research method is a semi-experimental type of pre-test - post-test with a control group. The statistical population of this research consists of all women with marital incompatibility who referred to the education and training counseling center of Kashmar city in the first quarter of 2017, which number of 40 women were selected by available and voluntary sampling and divided into two experimental groups (20 people). and control (20 people) were randomly divided. To collect data, Das Ladibond and Ladibon (1995) stress scale was used. After the therapeutic intervention in the experimental group, a post-test was taken from both groups. Multivariate covariance analysis was used to analyze the data.
Results:  The results of covariance analysis showed that solution-oriented family therapy had significant effects on the stress of female teachers (P≥0.001).
Conclusion: It seems that the solution-oriented approach can have an effect on the stress of female teachers; However, in order to increase the external validity of the research, it is suggested that more research be done in this direction.
