Abstract

Introduction: According to the definition of the World Health Organization, Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Despite the emphasis on the country's health system, the sociological aspects of the health issue have not been sufficiently considered. This research has addressed the role of Iran's social problems in relation to health.
Methods: The research was conducted using a qualitative method (Grounded Theory). The studied population includes Iranian sociologists, and the study of this discourse was done by referring to semi-structured interviews conducted by the Iranian Sociological Association under the title of "Suggestions about Iran's Developments". The samples were selected with the purposive sampling technique and continued until the theoretical saturation of 32 cases. Thematic analysis and ATLAS.ti software were used to analyze the data. In order to achieve reliability, the strategies of audit trial, review at the time of coding, and verification of research colleagues were used.
Results: Social capital, social changes and governance are among the most important issues that play a role in the social, psychological and physical health of people in society.
Conclusion: Considering the role of social issues in people's health, it is important to pay attention to them in improving people's quality of life.
