Abstract

Abstract
The aim of this study was compiling a model of Emotional Divorce based on Self- Differentiation and Family Emotional Involvement and Criticism with mediation of alexithymia.The research method was correlation and the statistical population Including all the people who had referred to the counseling centers of Tehran province in order to receive counseling. The sampling method in this study was goal-based and available. According to the number of research variables, 400 subjects were selected as the research sample through the available sampling method. Guttman Emotional Divorce Questionnaire (2010), the Scorn and Friedland Self- Differentiation Scale (2002), the Shield and Criticism Scale in the Shield et al. (1992), and Taylor's alexithymia Scale (1986) were selected as research tool. Results showed that the conceptual model of research are in harmony with collected data and path coefficients between variables are significant as well as all the research hypothesizes possess significance at the level of 0.05
