Abstract
Introduction: The role of the press in some periods of time does not become more vital and prominent except through competitiveness.
Therefore, in this study, based on competitiveness approaches, an attempt was made to design and critique the indigenous model of competitiveness of the Iranian press with emphasis on financial supervision and transparency.
Methods: In this study, in order to identify the dimensions of the model, the qualitative method of "fuzzy content analysis and Delphi" was used and in a quantitative part, the fuzzy dimatel method and fuzzy network analysis were used. In order to collect information, questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were used. The statistical population of the study is professors of media and communication management and managers of Iranian media and press. The research community is users of social networks in Iran and 30 experts were selected as a sample in Tehran (with homogeneous characteristics).
Results: The results showed that the components of technological readiness with weight (0.1241) in the first place and the efficiency of the product market with weight (0.208); Weighted economic environment (0.1145); Weight-related institutions (0.1086); Labor market efficiency by weight (0.1027); Higher and professional education with weight (0.0951); Market size by weight (0.0862); Infrastructure by weight (0.0856); Development of financial market by weight (0.0814); Business progress by weight (0.0809); They are ranked second to tenth.
Conclusion: It seems that the press has an important role in financial transparency and in this regard, it is suggested that more research be done.
