Abstract
Introduction: The aim of the current research was to formulate the design of the performance evaluation system of the Karate Federation in order to promote health.
Methods: The statistical population of this research includes three groups, the members of the monitoring and evaluation committee of the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the president, secretary and vice president of the Karate Federation and all the presidents, vice presidents and secretaries of the provincial karate committees of the country, which number 90 people and expert professors in management. and planning in physical education and sports sciences. According to Bartlett's sampling table for a society with this size, the number of samples is 60 people. A stratified random selection method was used to select the provinces. The research tool in this study is a researcher-made questionnaire. Questionnaire questions were compiled in 9 performance evaluation indicators. The reliability of the indicators was obtained through Cronbach's alpha test of 0.89. Finally, a questionnaire based on pairwise comparisons of indicators and the degree of preference of one based on the other according to Thomas Saati's spectrum was used to rank the karate federation's performance evaluation indicators. Calculating the compatibility rate in AHP is a useful guide to measure the validity of the participants' points of view in decision making. Single sample t-test was used and Friedman's ranking test was used to rank the questions of each index. The decision rule is determined at the statistical confidence level of 95% and the critical alpha is 0.05. All statistical operations are performed using SPSS software. AHP method and expert choice software were used to prioritize the indicators.
Results: Prioritization of indicators in order of importance including, 1- management, 2- financial, 3- championship, 4- educational, 5- control and supervision, 6- research, 7- information technology, 8- human power and 9- Culture was obtained.
Conclusion: One of the most important stages of designing a performance evaluation system is the development of indicators and performance evaluation criteria. So that the indicators determine the movement path of the organization to reach the goals. Indicators represent the realities in the field of an organization's activities, and in the management system, they are an efficient tool for evaluating programs and activities, and through them, one can find out about the achievement of predetermined goals in the programs.
