Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this research was to design a decision-making model for managers in line with employee empowerment and health..
Methods: The method of data collection and analysis is mixed (qualitative-quantitative). The statistical population is all the managers, commanders and employees of the police command of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad provinces, numbering 2062 people in 2019. In the quantitative part of the research, 217 people were selected as the sample size using stratified random sampling. To conduct interviews in the qualitative part of the research, 69 experts were selected and 30 people were selected to form the Delphi panel, taking into account the criteria of expertise, using judgmental and random sampling methods. The data collection tool in the qualitative part of the research was in-depth and semi-structured interviews, which continued until the data reached the theoretical saturation stage. Also, in the Delphi method and the quantitative part, a Delphi questionnaire was prepared, then based on the results of the Delphi method, a quantitative part questionnaire was designed and prepared to validate the research model. The collected qualitative data were analyzed using the qualitative content analysis method, coded and categorized based on the three-pronged model. Collected quantitative data were analyzed using structural equation modeling method based on confirmatory factor analysis with smart PLS software.
Results: Based on the findings of the research, the employee empowerment model was designed in 67 branches in the form of 17 components and in three categories of structural, behavioral and environmental factors.
Conclusion: It is published that providing such a model can provide the necessary platform for planning to empower police force employees.
