Examining the characteristics of curriculum evaluation in the second secondary period based on the components of the integrated curriculum in order to cultivate creative thinking

Abstract

Introduction: The present research was conducted with the aim of providing a consolidated curriculum model to foster creative thinking in secondary school students.
Methods: The research method is mixed (qualitative and quantitative). The statistical population of the research included two groups: curriculum experts (500 people) and secondary school teachers of the country in the academic year 1402-1401 (183,000 people). The community of curriculum experts was selected using the purposeful criterion sampling method and the community of secondary school teachers was first selected using the random cluster sampling method in four provinces of Khuzestan, Central, West Azarbaijan and Chaharmahal Bakhtiari, and finally, considering the specialization of the subject under investigation. integrated curriculum) while referring and inquiring to the education departments of the selected provinces, the selection criterion was made by the method of targeted sampling. The research tools were interviews and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using Chi-square test and Friedman's rank test and SPSS software version 26.
Results:  Based on the findings of the research, concepts were emphasized by curriculum planning experts and teachers according to the four dimensions of the model (P<0.001).
Conclusion: It seems that the model designed in the four dimensions of goal, content, learning and evaluation activities in the second year of high school, according to the results of a systematic review of specialized sources and texts as well as qualitative content analysis, has efficiency and effectiveness. and have a suitable predictor for cultivating creative thinking in secondary schools.
