Abstract

Introduction: The aim of the present study was to predict the tendency to risky behaviors based on the personality types of students with identity crisis. This research is correlational. The statistical population of the present study includes the first secondary school students with an identity crisis under study (Tehran District 4).
Methods: According to the purpose of the research, 180 people were selected using random sampling method. In this research, Iranian adolescents' risk tolerance questionnaire by Zadeh Mohammadi and Ahmad Abadi (2007) and Eysenck's personality questionnaire (form for children and adolescents) were implemented on the sample group. Pearson correlation and regression analysis were used for data analysis and SPSS24 software was used.
Conclusion: The results of the research showed that there was no positive and significant relationship between high-risk behaviors in students with personality traits of psychopathy, neuroticism, and extroversion. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between high-risk behaviors in students and personality traits. In other words, the independent variables have predicted the dependent changes well.
