بهداشت دست؛ دانشجویان پزشکی چقدر میدانند؟

چکیده

مقدمه: بهداشت دست مهم‎ترین روش کاهش عفونت‎های مرتبط با مراقبت سلامت است. هدف اصلی این پژوهش بررسی سطح دانش و نگرش دانشجویان پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی مشهد در زمینه بهداشت دست بود.
روش کار: مطالعه به روش مقطعی انجام شد. دو گروه از دانشجویان پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی مشهد طی سال 96 به روش نمونه گیری آسان انتخاب شدند. (کارآموزان در ابتدای ورود به بالین و دستیاران تخصصی در ابتدای دوره). علاوه بر چک لیست اطلاعات دموگرافیک، نسخه معتبر فارسی پرسشنامه سازمان جهانی بهداشت در زمینه دانش و نگرش درباره بهداشت دست توسط شرکت کنندگان تکمیل و اطلاعات توسط نرم افزار آماری SPSS   تحلیل شد.
نتایج: مجموعا 196 شرکت کننده وارد مطالعه شدند. میانگین سنی شرکت کنندگان 7± 6/27 و 129 نفر شامل 8/65% خانم بودند. کلا 100 نفر (51%) رزیدنت و 96 نفر (49%) کارآموز بودند. 63% دانشجویان سطح نگرش خوب، 27% سطح نگرش متوسط و 10% نگرش ضعیفی درباره بهداشت دست داشتند. سطح دانش 64% شرکت کنندگان در سطح متوسط یعنی امتیاز بین 50 تا 74 بود. 9 نفر (5%) سطح دانش خوب داشتند (امتیاز بالاتر 75%) و 61 نفر معادل 31% سطح دانش ضعیف یعنی امتیاز 50%و پایین‎تر. مقایسه سطح دانش و نگرش دو گروه دانشجویان نشان داد که میزان نگرش در دستیاران بطور معنی داری بالاتر از کارآموزان است.
نتیجه گیری: سطح دانش و نگرش دانشجویان پزشکی در زمینه بهداشت دست به ترتیب درسطح متوسط و خوب است. پیشنهاد می‎شود آموزش مداوم برای بهبود سطح دانش صورت گیرد.

چکیده [English]

Introduction: Hand hygiene is considered the most important measure to reduce the healthcare associated infections. The main aim of this study was to evaluate the knowledge and attitude level toward hand hygiene.


Methods: A cross-sectional study carried out. Two groups of medical students of Mashhad university of medical sciences during 2017 entered the study via convenient sampling method (the medical students at the beginning of the clinical training and the medical residents at the beginning of the residency). The demographic checklist and valid Persian version of WHO questionnaire on HH knowledge and attitude were completed by each participant. the SPSS software was used for analysis of the data.

Results: A total of 196 participants entered the study. The mean age of them was 27.6±7 and 65.8% were women; 100 medical residents (51%) and 96 medical students (49%),  63% of the participants had good attitude level toward hand hygiene, 27% moderate level and 10% poor. The knowledge level of 64% of participants was moderate (questionnaire score between 50 to 75), 9 individuals (5%) had a good knowledge level (score more than 75%), and 61 individuals (31%) had poor knowledge (the score less than 50%) About 71% completed the study, the attitude level of the residents was significantly higher than the externs (p<0.0001). 

Conclusion: The knowledge and attitude toward hand hygiene is at the moderate and good level, respectively. Regular traininig course is recommended to improve the knowledge level.
