[English]

Abstract
Introduction: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of multi-model pain management program on subjective pain, pain catastrophizing in men and women with acute coronary syndrome in 1398.
Methods: The method of the present study is a semi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test with control group. The statistical population of this study consists of all male and female patients of Rajai Heart Hospital in Tehran in 1398-99 who had the characteristics of acute coronary syndrome in the ECG and were diagnosed by a specialist; to achieve the sample group by available sampling method with people who wanted to participate in the study were selected and according to Cohen's table and the error rate of 1%, 30 people were randomly divided into two groups of 15 people, experimental and control group. At this stage, subjective pain and pain catastrophe questionnaires were taken as a pre-test from both experimental and control groups, then the experimental group received 8 sessions of multi-model pain management program, after 8 sessions, post-test was taken from both groups. Analysis of covariance was used by SPSS-24.
Results: The data showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in the scale of mental pain and catastrophic pain.
Conclusion: The results of this study showed the effect of a multimodal pain management program as one of the supportive methods in reducing subjective pain and catastrophic pain in patients with acute coronary syndrome.
