Abstract

Background and Aim: Heart failure is one of the most common and controversial medical issues that, unlike existing treatments, is associated with a high rate of disease and mortality. Methods: This experimental study was done in 40 patients who suffered from heart failure.
The patients were devided to four groups consis of: 1- cardiac rehabilitation exercise, 2- Rezoratrole supplement recivers, 3- cardiac rehabilitation and Rezoratrole supplement recivers and 4- control group.
Exercise groups have been participated in 8 weeks different levels exercise. Supplement recivers groups were taken 400 ml/gr daily supplement. The level of Galectin-3 and functional capacity were compromised in intervention and control groups. The data was analyzed in SPSS (26) software using appropriate statistical tests.
Results: The results showed that after 8 weeks, a significant decrease in Galactin-3, and a significant increase in discharge fraction and functional capacity of patients in training groups, complementary and combined recipients were observed. In addition, the combined intervention had a greater effect on reducing Galactin-3 level and increasing the discharge fraction and functional capacity of patients compared to the other two interventions.
Conclusion: Both cardiac rehabilitation exercises and resveratrol supplementation can be effective in improving functional capacity increase, discharge fraction and reduction of Galactin-3 in patients with heart failure, but it seems that combined intervention or more effectiveness (p> 0/001) .
