Abstract
The aim of this article is to examine the sociological barriers affecting the managerial structure of sport tourism development in Iran. Sample size to be determined during the research process based on theoretical / information saturation attainment. A list of interviewees was prepared according to the characteristics of the study population and experts. The number of interviewees was ten. In the quantitative phase, 237 senior managers in the field of sport tourism and in the Ministry of Sport and Youth were selected and after the content and formal validity of the questionnaires were confirmed and distributed. Factor load indicates the degree of correlation of each observer variable (questionnaire question) with the present variable (factors). For example, the factor load of the first question in the management framework variable is 0.62. In other words, the first question explains about 62% of the variance in the performance indicators of the management framework. The value of 0.57 is also the error value. The root mean square error of estimation error (RMSEA) of this model is 0.073 with a RMSEA threshold of 0.08. GFI, AGFI and NFI indices were 0.91, 0.91 and 0.92, respectively, indicating a good fit. The result shows that many countries see this dynamic industry as a major source of income, employment and private sector growth and infrastructure development by strengthening and establishing a proper management structure. Accordingly, one of the necessary strategies used today in most countries of the world is the management structure capable of developing and expanding tourism in deprived areas with potential tourism.
