رابطه ویژگی‌های شخصیتی و عملکرد تحصیلی با اعتیاد به اینترنت در دانش‌آموزان پسر دوره متوسطه

چکیده

مقدمه: بررسی عوامل زمینه‌ساز مؤثر بر استفاده‌های اعتیادی دانش‌آموزان از اینترنت جهت کاهش این رفتار و پیامدهای آن بسیار مهم است؛ لذا هدف پژوهش حاضر تعیین رابطه ویژگی‌های شخصیتی و عملکرد تحصیلی با اعتیاد به اینترنت دانش‌آموزان پسر دوره دوم متوسطه شهر بیجار بود. روش کار: روش پژوهش توصیفی از نوع همبستگی بود. جامعه آماری پژوهش حاضر را کلیه دانش آموزان پسر دوره دوم متوسطه شهرستان بیجار در سال تحصیلی 1398-1397 تشکیل دادند. تعداد نمونه پژوهش 310 نفر بودند که با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای تصادفی انتخاب شدند. برای جمع‌آوری داده‌ها از پرسشنامه‌های اعتیاد به اینترنت یانگ (IAT)، سنجش صفات پنج‌گانه شخصیتی نئو- فرم کوتاه (NEO-FFI) و معدل دانش آموزان به‌عنوان ملاک عملکرد تحصیلی استفاده شد. نتایج: بین روان‌رنجورخویی و اعتیاد به اینترنت رابطه مثبت و معنادار (01/0P<، 29/0r=)؛ بین برون‌گرایی و اعتیاد به اینترنت رابطه منفی و معنادار (01/0P<، 24/0-r=)؛ بین توافق و اعتیاد به اینترنت رابطه منفی و معنی‌دار (01/0P<، 24/0-r=)؛ و بین وظیفه‌شناسی و اعتیاد به اینترنت رابطه منفی و معنادار (01/0P<، 41/0-r=) وجود داشت. رابطه بین گشودگی نسبت به تجربه و اعتیاد به اینترنت معنادار نبود (05/0 <P، 06/0r=). بین عملکرد تحصیلی و اعتیاد به اینترنت رابطه منفی و معنادار وجود داشت (05/0P<، 12/0-r=). همچنین وظیفه‌شناسی (01/0P<، 40/0-β=) به شکل منفی و روان‌رنجورخویی (01/0P<، 16/0β=) به شکل مثبت قادر به پیش‌بینی اعتیاد به اینترنت بودند. نتیجه‌گیری: ویژگی‌های شخصیتی دانش‌آموزان و عملکرد تحصیلی نه‌چندان موفق آن‌ها می‌توانند در گرایش آن‌ها به رفتارهای اعتیادی ازجمله اعتیاد به اینترنت نقش داشته باشد.

چکیده [English]

Introduction: An investigation to the predisposing factors resulting in addictive use of internet among students for eliminating such behavior and its consequences seems highly important. Hence, the purpose of the present study was to determine the relationship between personality traits and academic performance and internet addiction of high school second period students in Bijar, Iran. Materials & Methods: The method of the study was correlational descriptive. The statistical population of the study was all male students of high school second period in Bijar in 1397-98 academic year (2018-19). The sample of the study included 310 participants selected through random cluster sampling. Young Internet Addiction Test (IAT), Revised NEO Personality Inventory (NEO-FFI), and students’ average as the criterion for academic performance were all used for data collection. Results: There was a positive and significant relationship between neuroticism and internet addiction (r=0.29, P<0.01), a negative and significant relationship between extraversion and internet addiction (r=-0.24, P<0.01), a negative and significant relationship between agreeableness and internet addiction (r=-0.24, P<0.01), and a negative and significant relationship between consciousness and internet addiction (r=-0.41, P<0.01). The findings also indicated that there was a negative and significant relationship between academic performance and internet addiction (R=-0.12, P<0.05). Also conscientiousness (P = 0.01, β = -0.40) in negative and neuroticism (P <0.01, β = 0.16) were able to predict Internet addiction positively. Conclusions: Personality traits of students and their weak academic performance play a role in addictive behaviors such as internet addiction.
