The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of metacognitive beliefs, tolerance of ambiguity and psychological flexibility in the diagnosis of high and low resilience (in wives of martyrs of Alborz province). In this research, the statistical population is the wives of the martyrs of Alborz province, the total sample required is 154, and 77 participants were necessary for each group. In this regard, first, 462 participants aged 20 to 60 were included in the study. All participants responded to scales of resilience, metacognition, ambiguity tolerance, and psychological flexibility. In order to monitor the data, 12 subjects were excluded from the analysis due to missing data and 7 subjects due to outliers. Then, the standard Z score of the resilience scale was calculated, and then the participants were divided into two groups according to the Z scores of resilience, and the diagnostic role of the components of metacognition, tolerance of ambiguity and psychological flexibility in distinguishing the two groups of low and high resilience in the test and for this purpose, diagnostic analysis test was used in SPSS-23 software. Conclusion: The findings show that the variables of metacognition and ambiguity tolerance can be related to post-traumatic growth in different populations, but these relationships seems are not only direct, but also indirect as resilience.
